Obama No Friend to Blacks and Hispanics.

Leaders of a national Hispanic organization are criticizing President Barack Obama for skipping their annual conference for the third consecutive year after he promised as a candidate, in 2008 that he would return as president. The No-Show was did not set well with many Latino Leaders. It is almost as if Obama was saying “I need your support, but I am not willing to work for it.
At the Republican Leadership Council meeting in Louisiana, last week Rep. Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn.) said on Friday that President Barack Obama “has failed” both these communities Pointing to double-digit unemployment rates among African Americans and Hispanics was able to back up her claim by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. They said Bachmann’s statement on unemployment in the African American and Hispanic communities is accurate.
In the Hispanic community, the overall unemployment rate was 9.9 percent in January 2009, when President Obama was inaugurated. By May 2011, it had risen to 11.9 percent.
Among African Americans 16 to 19 years old, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 36.3 percent in January 2009 and had risen to 40.7 percent by May 2011. Among Hispanics 16 to 19 years old, the unemployment rate was 24.3 percent in January 2009 and had risen to 26.1 percent by May 2011.
This leads many to ask if he will be able to maintain these voters or will they just sit home and not vote or possible even support the Republican candidate?
